Stimulation Centre
a safe and flexible environment that provides basic learning and experimentation.
It is primarily occupied by our frail beneficiaries; those in need of special care and attention. Our daily activities range from interactive storytelling to organising blocks and puzzles – all under the supervision of our Auxiliary Social Worker and a team of Care Workers.
Workshop
A real world working environment where our more developed beneficiaries (Day-Workers) can be productive and learn positive social interactions, receive job-coaching, as well as make money for themselves.
Daily activities include, but are not limited to; packaging and assembling products for clients, loading and off-loading deliveries, separating useful waste for recycling and more. Our Workshop Managers and staff on-ground guide the Day-Workers through each task to ensure that it is done to the satisfaction of the client.
Residential Centre
The Hamlet Foundation houses over 55 intellectually disiabled adults, divided into four hostels - depending on the level of supervision required by each individual.
For some, our Residential Centre is the only place they can call home, whilst others alternate between their family home and the centre. Our team of On-Call Managers, who stay on the property, and Care-Workers work daily to ensure that our beneficiaries are well taken care of.
